Returns & Repairs

If you do not absolutely love your purchase, we are happy to facilitate an exchange or issue store credit. We only accept returns and/or exchanges for purchases made from our online store directly. We do not offer refunds at this time.

If you purchased an HBJ piece from one of our retail partners, you are subject to their store policies. Please work directly with that retailer as they are a separate business.

Exchanges and store credit requests for online purchases are permitted within 10 days of receipt. If you are gifting an item and need additional time, please contact our studio prior to ordering. Note that we extend our return policy during the winter holiday season. Sign up for the HBJ email list prior to the holidays to stay informed.

We will only accept exchanges and returns if the jewelry is unworn and in the same condition in which it was received. Please note that shipping may be deducted from the store credit and the exchange value. Store credits do not expire.

Custom and bespoke orders, items purchased during sales or promotions, rings that have been resized for your purchase (including one-of-a-kind rings that are sized with your purchase), and international orders are not available for return, exchange, credit, or refund

Please contact our studio for a return authorization and you will receive further instructions.

Please note that when returning items, keep them in the original packaging (secured within a shipping box) and use a courier with insurance and tracking (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Hannah Blount Jewelry is not liable for returns lost in the mail.

We stand behind the quality of our jewelry and are happy to provide repairs due to manufacturing issues free of charge for one year from the date of purchase from our online store. If you purchased an HBJ piece from one of our retail partners, you are subject to their store policies. Please work directly with that retailer.

Elective repairs (such as ring sizing or design errors by the customer), damage to pieces that are NOT due to a manufacturing issue (such as getting run over by a car, which has actually happened!), or repairs required after one year will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. If accepted, we will charge an additional fee to cover out-of-pocket costs.

This page contains the most current version of our repair policies and supersedes all prior repair policies offered by HBJ. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify this policy or discontinue our repair services without notice at any time. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or purchase of products from our website following the posting of any changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Please contact our studio for repair authorization.

If you need to return a piece to us, please ship your jewelry back to us inside a sturdy shipping box. We say this with love (and a little begging).

The small paper jewelry box your piece arrives in is not a shipping box - it’s just meant to hold the jewelry inside the package (that's why it has a fancy ribbon on it!). If that little box goes straight into the mail on its own, or inside a padded envelope, there’s a real risk the jewelry could be damaged along the way.

Packages go through a lot in transit. They get tossed, stacked under piles of other boxes, dropped, and occasionally slammed around during sorting and transport. A padded envelope just doesn’t offer enough protection for something as special as jewelry.

Our general rule of thumb when packing is: Would this survive if someone accidentally stepped on the box? If the answer is yes, you’re probably in good shape.

So when sending something back, please place the jewelry inside a proper shipping box with a little padding (tissue paper, bubble wrap... even paper towels work!). Feel free to reuse the shipping box your pieces arrived in or something similar. Your future jewelry self (and our repair bench) will thank you!
