General questions

For the time being, the HBJ studio serves as a private workspace. We're unable to offer in-studio order pick-ups at this time. Thank you for understanding!

Hannah Blount Jewelry is available by email from 10 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Contact the team at studio@hannahblount.com.

All orders are gift-wrapped and do not include a receipt.

Each gift-wrapped piece is stylized with a variety of jewelry boxes of velvet or ornate floral designs to create an elegant, one-of-a-kind gift-giving experience. These gift boxes often include a green velvet pouch and relevant information about your piece.

If you would like to include a handwritten note with your order, please include your message in the “Special Instructions for HBJ” box on the checkout page.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship all orders via USPS or FedEx, depending on the destination and the type of shipment. To keep your piece safe in transit (and because our insurance makes us), a signature is required upon delivery.

If you miss the delivery, don’t worry! Both USPS and FedEx will typically leave a notice and you can pick up your package at your local post office or FedEx location, or arrange a redelivery. If you contact us, we also can schedule a redelivery.

If a package isn’t claimed within a certain amount of time, it will eventually be returned to our studio. We will reach out if a package is returned to us but we will need to charge shipping for a second attempt.

If you would prefer delivery without a signature requirement, please reach out to us before your order ships and we’re happy to discuss the options with you.

For more details on shipping, please see the Shipping page.

If you need to return a piece to us or send us an heirloom stone, please ship your jewelry/gems inside a sturdy shipping box. We say this with love (and a little begging).

The small paper jewelry box your piece arrives in is not a shipping box - it’s just meant to hold the jewelry inside the package (that's why it has a fancy ribbon on it!). If that little box (or a loose gemstone!) goes straight into the mail on its own, or inside a padded envelope, there’s a real risk the jewelry could be damaged along the way.

Packages go through a lot in transit. They get tossed, stacked under piles of other boxes, dropped, and occasionally slammed around during sorting and transport. A padded envelope just doesn’t offer enough protection for something as special as jewelry and gems.

Our general rule of thumb when packing is: Would this survive if someone accidentally stepped on the box? If the answer is yes, you’re probably in good shape.

So when sending something to us, please place the item inside a proper shipping box with a little padding (tissue paper, bubble wrap... even paper towels work!). Feel free to reuse the shipping box your pieces arrived in or something similar. Your future jewelry self (and our bench team) will thank you!
