Aquamarine Gemstone Beads

During the latest gem show adventure I was instantly drawn to these luscious strands of aquamarine. Though I no longer work with beads, I couldn't resist turning these jewels into jewelry.

These raw cut aquamarine are interrupted with diamond-tipped golden rods. The chocolate diamonds total a quarter carat, and add a neutral sparkle to the fresh blue of the necklace.

This handmade black and gold link chain centers a tapering set of chunky oceanic aquamarine pillars. Little white diamonds wink in the rivets connecting the two worlds of gemstones and metal.
