The Nantucket Shellfish Association is a nonprofit organization from my hometown that is "...dedicated to conserving the shellfish and the shellfisheries in the waters of Nantucket Island through research, education and action." When they approached me to create a custom piece of jewelry for their cause, I jumped at the opportunity.
They will be selling necklaces, ear posts, cufflinks, tie tacks, and leather bracelets that I created with their scallop shell logo at the Scalloper's Ball this Friday, September 27. If you will be attending the event, please make sure to check out the jewels and support a good cause!
