A rich plum pink tourmaline, cut into a sleek rectangular silhouette, is held within gold prongs and suspended from a delicate gold chain. Hidden along the side of the setting are rows of glittering diamonds, an unexpected shimmer like a secret kept just for the wearer.

4.55ct pink tourmaline + 0.30ct post-consumer diamond (total weight).

Pendant measures approx. 12x14mm.

Tourmalines are beloved by HBJ for their singular inclusions that evoke a variety of still-beauty, from lily ponds to watercolor paintings. The discovery of tourmaline occurred during the 1500s in Brazil, where it was mistaken for emerald. Tourmaline’s wide spectrum of colors earned its name from the Sinhalese word for “mixed gems”- while green tourmalines are the most popular iteration, pink tourmalines are cherished for their romantic hues of pale blush to rich magenta.

Care: Although tourmalines are sturdy, they are not invincible and can break: avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces. To clean your tourmaline jewelry, soak in warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like. Do not use an ultrasonic of steam cleaner.
