Bench Jeweler (In-Person | Bronxville, NY)
We’re seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our small, collaborative studio team in Bronxville, NY. This is an in-person role, working up to four days per week.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on bench work, values precision, and takes pride in creating beautifully crafted, thoughtfully made jewelry.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform ring sizings, repairs, and alterations
- Execute high-quality soldering, welding, and finishing
- Work confidently with arc and/or laser welders
- Work across silver, gold, and platinum
- Support general bench work and production needs as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful studio workspace
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with jewelry repair and bench work
- Strong technical skills in soldering, finishing, and welding
- Comfort working with fine and delicate jewelry
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Bezel setting experience
- Ability to assess repair needs and communicate clearly about bench solutions
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Gemstone setting experience, particularly:
- Flush setting
- Bead setting
- Experience working in a small studio or production environment
- Tool maintenance and studio upkeep
Studio Environment
- Active, focused, hands-on in-person studio setting
- Collaborative, respectful, and craft-driven atmosphere
- Must love dogs- our four-legged studio assistant is part of the team 🐾
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill level, with strong consideration given to jewelers with advanced repair and stone-setting backgrounds.
