Wild Dianthus Sapphire Vanity Earrings

These earrings feel like wildflowers caught in stone. Each sapphire holds a bloom of color, soft stormy gray shifting into vivid wild-pink, like dianthus petals pressing through coastal fog. The stones have that signature HBJ texture: misty inclusions, cloudy depth, and subtle shifts in tone that make them feel alive in the light.

Set in Hannah’s signature hand-formed prongs and suspended from delicate gold ear wires, the settings are intentionally minimal so the sapphires can take center stage. Organic and a little untamed, the prongs follow the curves of the stones like vines holding a wild bloom.

All metal has a matte finish.

Each earring measures approx. 36.55mm from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone and weighs 3.8 grams. Each drop measures approx. 25.45x18.2mm from the bottom of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone.

Sapphires are a corundum variety, like rubies, that come in every color but red. While classic, cobalt sapphires are the most popular, the HBJ studio loves those with inclusions and atypical coloring. Sapphire inclusions are formed by minerals called needles; in ancient Greece and Rome, royalty believed that sapphires provided protection.

Care: While sapphires are very sturdy, they can still break. Avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces. To clean your sapphire piece, soak in warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like. It is safe to clean with an ultrasonic and steam cleaner

We offer free shipping on orders over $300 and ship either via USPS or FedEx, depending on the size of the order. You can opt to pay for a faster shipping method at checkout. A signature is required at delivery. 

For International: 

We ship via DHL and, when possible, with a signature requirement. We are only able to ship to a limited number of countries. International customers are required to pay for all shipping and customs costs.
