Chrysoprase is known as the stone of Venus. The rarest of the chalcedony family, this gemstone is beloved for its varying viridescence—from bright, green-apple shades to more muted moss—and its unique inclusions.

Care: Avoid dropping your chrysoprase jewelry onto hard surfaces and keep away from chemicals: contact with cosmetics, oils, acids, etc. can damage chrysoprase. To clean your chrysoprase jewelry, use warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like gently. Do not use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner. Chrysoprase can fade with too much sunlight.

Like Ocean Glass washed up from the ocean with barnacles attached from their underwater journey, these Ruthie B earrings have an organic edge with a touch of lady like flourish in the gold ear hooks and barnacles. I love the calm blue with the edgy and lady like mix. These are earrings a mermaid left on her large rock perchv as she was luring a sailor into her charms. Lucky me I found them!

Oh my gosh...Hannah's art work of the Seaborn Nautilus is absolutely beautiful. I picked this Scrimshaw because the Nautilus is ancient and mysterious in it's alien underworld beauty. I treasure this special piece dearly as it is a little work of art on my neck. An homage to Hannah's childhood and the nostalgia of her fishing home, this collection comprises gritty nautical-inspired pieces. The collection is named after Hannah's father's fishing vessel, the Ruthie B, which was named after Hannah's mother. Ruthie B. celebrates the mystery and natural peculiarity of the ocean that painted the artist’s childhood. In their weathered island home, Hannah and her six siblings learned how to entertain themselves amidst the chaos that comes with such a large family. The dingy fishing paraphernalia that littered their backyard was a playground of inspiration: raw snapshots of beauty against the clean backdrop of their hometown of Nantucket.
