Solid 14k yellow gold prongs, bails, and ear wires with a bright sterling silver solid stone seat.

All metal has a matte finish.

Each earring measures approx. 13.28mm from the top of the ear wire and weighs 2.29 grams. Each drop measures approx. 8.75x5.18mm.

A gemstone of regality and vibrancy, lapis lazuli is steeped in ancient Egyptian history, where it was known as “heaven’s stone.” Mines in Afghanistan have produced lapis lazuli since around 700 BC and remain in use today, making them the oldest continuously worked sources of commercial gemstones. At HBJ, we are drawn to its rich cobalt blues, organic striations, and glimmering flecks of pyrite.

Care: Lapis is a particularly soft gemstone. Avoid dropping your lapis lazuli jewelry onto hard surfaces and keep away from chemicals: contact with cosmetics, oils, acids, etc. can damage lapis lazuli. To clean your lapis lazuli jewelry, use warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like. Do not use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner
