I'm back in the studio after this year's Tucson Gem Show, and am so excited to turn my finds into new pieces. I traveled to Arizona with some of my fellow jewelers- Sophie Hughes, Sasha Walsh, Molly Avellar and Vincent Russo. Being able to explore this year's show with them made the trip even more special.
With a lineup of over 45 shows within the entire event, each day was exhausting and amazing- total sensory overload. As always, I loved the vendors and their one-of-a-kind gems at the AGTA and GJX shows especially. I stocked up on Herkimer diamonds, Kingman Turquoise and mine cut diamonds. I brought home sunstone rife with aventurescence, rough and glittering lapis as well as mercurial kyanites and sapphires.
