The HBJ studio is thrilled to be participating in Fire & Forge – a highly-curated collection by A Thousand Facets, of fine jewelry featuring opals by Loren Gurche.
Presented by Vincent’s Fine Jewelry, Fire & Forge will debut fourteen, one-of-a-kind opal pieces by varying artists Novemeber 9th at their store front from 7pm-9pm. This limited edition collection is comprised of hand-selected artists, by A Thousand Facets, and vetted by Vincent Perugino.
I was inspired to create a one-of-a-kind, insect inspired beetle utilizing the beautiful, cosmic opal from Loren Gurche. The gemstone's translucency and opalescence made the gemstone a natural fit for my insect inspired designs. I utilized a genuine beetle wing for the top of the pendant, and some antique diamond accents to add a bit of grit and glamour to the naturalistic piece.
This one-of-a-kind opal beetle will be available at Vincent’s Fine Jewelry until the end of the year.
