Solid 14k gold with platinum barnacles. All metal has a matte finish.

The setting measures approx. 8.1 x 7.7 mm. The stone measures approx. 6.60mm.

The ring is size 7.5. Please note: ring resizing can add up to 4 weeks to your shipping estimate. Resized rings are not eligible for return or exchange.

We intentionally choose gemstones with natural inclusions, and some may also feature subtle surface texture. These characteristics are part of what makes each stone unique, and one of the things we love most about natural gemstones.

Mined in the US and easy to trace its ethical origins, Montana Sapphires tend to come in muted, dreamy colors. Sapphires are a corundum variety, like rubies, that come in every color but red. While classic, cobalt sapphires are the most popular, the HBJ studio loves those with inclusions and atypical coloring. Sapphire inclusions are formed by minerals called needles; in ancient Greece and Rome, royalty believed that sapphires provided protection.
Heating sapphires is a common practice used to enhance color and clarity, without altering the stone’s natural composition.

Care: While sapphires are very sturdy, they can still break. Avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces. To clean your sapphire piece, soak in warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like. It is safe to clean with an ultrasonic and steam cleaner

We offer free shipping on orders over $300 and ship either via USPS or FedEx, depending on the size of the order. You can opt to pay for a faster shipping method at checkout. A signature is required at delivery. 

For International: 

We ship via DHL and, when possible, with a signature requirement. We are only able to ship to a limited number of countries. International customers are required to pay for all shipping and customs costs.

Cradled in a smooth bezel, the gemstone feels tucked safely into place, protected from the bumps and snags of everyday life. The band carries a satisfying weight and gently narrows toward the stone, drawing the eye to what matters most.

Each piece is crafted in solid, high-quality precious metal - never plated. Our signature matte finish honors the material, allowing it to soften and evolve with wear, developing a natural patina that tells the story of the wearer.
