Faustina Senior lived 100-140 CE. She was Empress from 138-140 CE. She was known for her generosity, charitable works, and devotion to her family. After her death, her husband Emperor Antoninus Pius had her deified by the Roman Senate, and she became one of Rome's most revered empresses. Temples and commemorative coins were struck in her honor, often depicting goddesses such as Vesta (hearth and home) reflecting the virtues she embodied.

Faustina Junior lived 130-175 CE. She was Empress from 145-175 CE. She was known for being the daughter of Antoninus Pius and Faustina the Elder, and one of Rome's most influential empresses. She accompanied her husband, Emporer Marcus Aurelius on military campaigns, earned the title Mater Castrorum ("Mother of the Camp"), and was celebrated as the mother of a large imperial family. Coins frequently paired her portrait with goddesses such as Concordia (harmony and unity) emphasizing her role as a symbol of stability and the imperial household.

ANATOMY OF CAMEO

A modern interpretation of antique cameo jewelry, these pieces reflect the strength, intuition, and layered identity of the Divine Feminine. Rooted in history yet distinctly contemporary, each design honors storytelling, connection, and self-expression.

Designed as rings, necklaces, and earrings, the collection redefines cameo jewelry through tranquil, sculptural forms. These unique designs move beyond tradition, offering modern jewelry that is both timeless and expressive. Our cameos honor the sacred wildness, mystery, and enduring resilience of the feminine.

Named after Nantucket’s coastal fog, our Grey Lady pieces evoke the same mystery and introspection. Fierce, independent, wild, and wise, her spirit moves throughout history and is bound to us with the shared thread of sisterhood.

Carved in solid silver and 18k gold, these handcrafted pieces are designed for durability and everyday wear- unique, non-traditional jewelry and alternative wedding bands that feel both strong and refined.
