Labradorite is a type of feldspar, like moonstone, known for its labradorescence: a metallic optical effect of blues and greens that shifts across different crystal planes. It was named for the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was identified in the 1700's, though it had been used thousands of years earlier by the Red Paint People of Maine. Inuit legend tells that the Northern Lights were once trapped within the rocks along the coast of Labrador, giving labradorite its luminous glow.

THE ANATOMY OF THE ROSE

Inspired by the wild roses of Nantucket and the decadence of Parisian architecture, our handcrafted roses celebrate growth, love, and milestones, bringing the promise of new beginnings to full bloom. Each blossom captures the organic beauty of nature with delicate petals, resilient branches, and the timeless elegance of baroque design, caught and held in metal.

Each rose is hand-built by Hannah, layer by layer from sheets of metal, then molded and cast in fine metals. Over time, this process has grown into a rose garden of its own: an evolving collection of sculptural floral jewelry in many sizes and shapes, each bloom echoing the curves of a rose in full bloom.

Each piece is crafted in solid silver and gold with our signature matte finish. The weight of the metal gives structure to the floral forms, allowing the details of our nature-inspired jewelry to feel both delicate and grounded.

Petals curl and layer in asymmetrical, flowering arrangements, creating sculptural silhouettes that feel both luxurious and alive. Our floral designs celebrate the moment when growth becomes full bloom; a natural continuation of the transition first marked in our branch pieces.

We are drawn to gemstones that are hard to come by — stones shaped by unexpected color, natural inclusions, and a character that cannot be replicated. Each is hand-selected to complement our nature-inspired jewelry, becoming part of something sculptural and alive. Whether as a personal piece or a truly unique engagement ring, this is where it begins.
