This necklace feels like a quiet moment tucked behind stone wall; shaded, still, and softly alive. At its center is a moss beryl with a cool, silvery-green tone and a gentle translucence. Natural inclusions drift through the stone like lichen on old masonry or vines climbing weathered brick, giving the gem depth and an unmistakable sense of history. 

The beryl is cradled in a sculptural garden of hand-formed metal blooms, clustered organically around the stone’s edges. Each floral detail feels as though it has grown into place over time rather than being set.

Beryl is a beryllium aluminum silicate mineral that occurs in a wide range of colors. The most familiar are aqua (aquamarine) and green (emerald), but the gem also appears in pink to orange and purple (morganite), colorless (goshenite), yellow to golden brown (heliodor), and even red (bixbite). It is also the name of Hannah's dog, who has earned spinoff nicknames such as Ber Boo, Berstopherson, and Ber Chicken. Heliodor comes from the Greek words for "gift of the sun."

Care: Although beryls are sturdy, they are not invincible- they can break. Avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces. To clean your beryl jewelry, soak in warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like. Do not use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.
