SKELETAL CRYSTAL: A depressed cavern formed during the growth stage of the stone. This indentation is patterned with multiple parallel lines stepping toward the top of the crystal.
PIGGYBACK: A baby crystal growing out of the surface of a larger crystal.
SOLID INCLUSION: A mineral caught within the crystal. This mineral is often black anthraxolite, adding dark specks to the stone.
SMOKY CRYSTAL: A pale grey to black discoloration resembling wisps of smoke.

Care: Though hardy and durable, Herkimers can break. Avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces. To clean, soak in warm, soapy water and remove any dirt with a toothbrush or the like.
