With this transition, each purchase will now include a miniature aquarium for overnight storage, along with a tube of phytoplankton for feeding.
Barnacles thrive on consistency, so we recommend:
- a gentle nightly routine
- low lighting
- speaking to them in a calm, reassuring tone.
Many of our clients have reported stronger bonds when naming their barnacles within the first 48 hours!
Please note that barnacles may retract for extended periods of time, especially during moments of stress, overstimulation, or mild inconvenience. This is normal. Some may take a few days to “warm up” to you. Others may never fully open up emotionally. 🫤
As always, these natural variations are not considered flaws, but rather a reflection of their living beauty and autonomy.
