Metaphysical Properties | Moonstone

With a name like moonstone, it's hard to deny the magic of this gem; their adularescence and unearthly gleams evoke their namesake. Mythology from all over the world nods to moonstone's celestial ancestry, particularly ancient Hindu lore.

Moonstone became fashionable during the Art Nouveau period, and was believed to be able to reconcile estranged lovers and to cure insomnia. Today, those who believe find moonstone crystals bring calm and relief from emotional stress. Moonstone is the gemstone of the High Priestess, and many believe meditating with moonstones will help rediscover forgotten parts of ones self or even past lives!

  • Hi-

Your jewelry is wonderful! I saw a necklace at Cedros Soles in Solana Beach Ca that is a single moonstone (about the size of a nickel-a little bigger, slightly irregular shape, with prongs -like your “vanity settings”). However I do not see one on your site. Any chance you have or can recreate one? Also saw a ring (same setting) made of kryanite (?). Any chance of recreating that?
