Hannah Blount
Hannah Blount has been creating jewelry since she was a child. The daughter of a fisherman and a seamstress, Hannah was raised in the tradition of hand skills. Growing up on Nantucket Island with six siblings informed her idea of beauty. It inspired her to create beauty of her own. Over time her simple designs evolved into sophisticated metalwork. She graduated from Umass Dartmouth in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Jewelry/Metals. Immediately upon graduating, Hannah built up her studio and began Hannah Blount Jewelry.
Over the following years she has created a body of work that encompasses an organic and sophisticated aesthetic. She is currently working out of her studio in Boston, MA, and selling her jewelry in various boutiques across the United States.
Each piece is handmade by Hannah, so she asks for two to three weeks for the creative process before shipping.
