Imagine this. You are walking home after a long day. You feel frustrated, broke, and stressed for the Holidays. It's so cold your fingers go numb before you can fumble your mittens on. Alas, you finally turn onto your street, and *poof,* a vision of brilliant, florescent light hits you like a myriad of Christmas cheer. Suddenly, you feel warm and fuzzy inside, instead of freezing, anxious, and dehydrated... It screams, "HELLO CHRISTMAS!!!!!" and you have never felt so dizzy with excitement!
That is what I feel every time I turn onto my street after dark. My neighbors, whomever they may be, are my heroes. Some may find these decorations overkill, but I say, "The more the merrier!" I love it. I feel like a small child every time I walk down the street, and I get giddy with joy. I mean, let's face it- this took a lot of work, a lot of time, and hey- a lot of money. But it doesn't go unappreciated, at least not by me; and now, hopefully, by you, too.
Happy Holidays everyone!
