This year, I gave my boyfriend some handmade gifts. It was actually quite fun coming up with something a boy would wear, but still keeping with my style. I think he just may be my inspiration to start a Men's line... Any suggestions?
Merry Christmas! This year, I gave my boyfriend some handmade gifts. It was actually quite fun coming up with something a boy would wear, but still keeping with my style. I think he just may be my inspiration to start a Men's line... Any suggestions? Add Comment I had the luxury of buying a strand of fantastic white Baroque pearls for a friend's bridal earrings, and have been using the extras in delicious and yummy ways. My favorite has been adding 14k Gold accents via these Barnacles. I think they are just lovely. Since no two are alike, these earrings are truly one-of-a-kind. I won't be adding them to my permanent collection, but you can find this pair for purchase on my Holiday page! I've been playing with the idea of stacking rings, and here is just one of many ideas bouncing around my head: Dot Rings! I bundled five on my middle finger, added my Barnacle Ring on a whim, and took this fun Instagram (I told you it was my new obsession...). The dot rings would look fantastic with my heart ring, under my crown ring, along with my gumball rings, barnacle rings, and even my facet rings.... See below for ideas of how to stack them... I can't stop drooling over my new Tanzanite beads. I have always wanted to work with it, and finally purchased some! It is a higher price point, but the stones nearly glow next to the soft Silver and Vermeil. See my new "Holiday" page for more information. I am thrilled to finally introduce my latest work, Anodized Pods! I took my Silver and Vermeil Pod Earrings and made them in brilliant hues of Cherry, Cactus, and Bayberry. They are set at a lower price point, and just in time for the Holidays. Enjoy! And Happy Thanksgiving! Lately I have been experimenting with some older designs to make new stock. Here I have my Dot Candy Hoops, but instead of the rainbow Sapphires, Emeralds, and Rubies, I have made the dots uniform in color. The look, though less whimsical, is more chic and wearable. I just sent these guys to the platers, I can't wait to get them back in gold! Speaking of the Medium Oxidized Silver Scallop Shell with Barnacles, I turned it into a brooch! The start of a line of brooches. I'll post blogs as I continue to add to the line. The new series of barnacles has enabled me to dabble in my secret love of sparkly things. Of course, matte metal will always be my favorite, but every once in a while I enjoy that fabulous glitter that can only be found in high quality facets. In this 14k Gold and Turquoise number, I have set little white Sapphires in the barnacles before posting them on the stones. Going forward I will, naturally, be playing with colors and stones to present you with an infinite assortment of bling. To add to my little Nautical charm necklaces, here are the baby scallop shell necklace and the lady slipper shell necklace. I have been setting diamonds all day! Here are a few new versions of the Barnacle Ring. This one has a white Diamond: This one has a Black Diamond: I think they look fabulous worn together: Maybe add a few more for a little drama: |
