Here are my five favorite Oscar gowns:

Gwyneth Paltrow looked beautiful in this simple and streamlined white Tom Ford gown. It looks like it was made for her (it probably was) and the cape is such an interesting addition- and yet it makes perfect sense for a perfect silhouette.

Michelle Williams never fails to amazing me. Along with making me want a short haircut (for the first time in my life), her style is always perfection. Once again, she stunned with this gorgeous red Louis Vuitton gown.

Simple, sophisticated, elegant, and mature. So young to be so wise! I love a good long sleeve, as does Shailene Woodley, wearing this white Valentino Couture dress.

Ya, this dress is a whole lotta gold, but I happen to love gold. Here is Meryl Streep, looking her usual stunning self on the red carpet, wearing Lanvin with eco-friendly fabric sourced by Livia Firth.

Last but not least is the breathtaking image of Octavia Spencer wearing Tadashi Shoji, who, in my opinion, looked the most amazing of them all. She is a goddess.
What was your favorite Oscar gown?

I had the pleasure of having my mom and my sister visit for the day. It was so incredibly beautiful we could hardly believe it! The sky was royal blue and the air seemed to glow. We took a walk down the street to the monument/little castle on Prospect Hill in Union Square, Somerville. I found some delicious patinas and rust patterns along the doorways and windows on the monument... metal is just so amazing.

I have decided that my Apple Necklace would be perfect as the mascot for ABC's hit show, Once Upon A Time. I think one of my favorite characters, Regina (aka the evil queen) would look fantastic wearing this symbolic charm! She has made it clear how much she loves Apples....

Ginnifer Goodwin already has the necklace, too. How appropriate, for Snow White!

As I am starting on the orders from Fab.com's sale, I find these little glimpses of my work refreshingly comical.

Warning: Indecent language.

I cannot tell you how much fun I've had making these. Anyone who knows me is probably scratching his or her head, wondering where these came from? Let's face it, they don't really fit with the rest of my work.

Which is exactly why I giggled when made the first one. For me, it is a refreshing take on the Valentine norm, and hopefully you will find them as humorous as I do!

I will not be selling these on my website, but on my Etsy shop. Take a look!

Last night I peeked through my window at some mysterious hour, and saw the world outside glowing white. It was brighter than I would have expected, and sent me giggling back to my pillow.

This morning I made Blueberry Muffins to eat with my warm coffee in celebration of the beginning of the season (finally).

Ok, now I'm ready for Spring.

While making the Scallop Shell with Barnacles, I have noticed that the soldering process creates the most natural finish, greatly resembling the actual scallop shell fresh from the ocean. If only I could keep it just like this!

Keep calm and carry on!
The storm is just hitting us here in Boston, and as we curl up in our PJ's
with some coffee, I'm sure we are all doing a little bit of that online shopping.
So, for all the other people stuck inside, I'd like to offer you free shipping on all HBJ.
Have fun in the storm, folks!
