My dear friends, Rachel and Meredith, have opened a beautiful lingerie shop in Harvard Square, Boston, called Forty Winks. I gave this to them as decoration for their new walls. I hope it does justice to the lovely items they sell!

Congratulations to my own little sister, Leah Blount, who graduated with flying colors from Nantucket High School on Saturday! Next year she joins me here in Boston to attend the New England Institute of Art. We are so proud of her.

Let me introduce you to my colors for this Fall/Winter. Nothing says cold weather like bright colors, eh?

On gray rainy days, it's always wonderful to take out my favorite mug and sit down to my bench with a hot cup of coffee. Amidst the chaos, the Gnome prevails!
